What is Mycoplasma Pneumonia?

What do we know about this type of Pneumonia? According to the CDC, Mycoplasma Pneumonia causes a respiratory tract infection that damages the tract that includes the throat, windpipe, and lungs. It can take one to four weeks for symptoms to appear after exposure. The CDC shares the following symptoms to look out for:
