Brad Mullen

Brad has a public accounting background with a specialty in employee benefits. He has specialized in the virtual care space since 2013 providing analytical support to carriers for the use of telemedicine. His greatest contribution to the enhancement of virtual care was in the blending of custom Rx solutions that pair with virtual care services. With thirty years working with employee benefits accounting, his specialty is focused on care delivery at the lowest possible price.
Mullen has over thirty years of business ownership and has always focused on the member (customer) experience as the first priority. His philosophy that service should always be thorough, competent, convenient and fast, dictates the design of any BasiCare Plus® product.
Eric Cohen
President
Eric specializes in our rapidly expanding rural market. His background in agriculture and knowledge of the unique challenges facing families in rural America drives the national development of our program, Complete™. Eric has been an independent crop consultant in Southwest Georgia for over 30 years and has overseen a multi-generational Georgia pecan farm. Eric is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Georgia, served as a Program Chair in 2015 being tasked with highlighting the agricultural industry in Georgia, and has served on the Board of Trustees from 2019-2023. Eric was named to UGA’s 40 Under 40 List in 2016, has served on the University of Georgia Alumni Association Board of Directors from 2017-2023, and has served on UGA’s College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Alumni Association Strategic Planning Committee. Eric also currently serves as Chairman of Grady EMC’s Board of Directors and Southwest Georgia Farm Credit Board of Directors.

Sonja Clark
Sonja brings her experience and a passion for helping others to her role as Vice President of Sales at BasiCare Plus®. With 18 years in the Real Estate industry, Sonja has honed her expertise in sales and marketing, earning a strong reputation for her knowledge and dedication. Her love for assisting individuals in achieving their financial and real estate portfolio goals has seamlessly transitioned into her new venture in the virtual healthcare world. Here, she continues to lead and inspire others, focusing on meeting both physical and mental needs.
Over the last 14 years, Sonja has been an active and influential member of the Thomasville Area Board of REALTORS, holding various leadership positions including Local Director, Secretary/Treasurer, and Past President. She currently serves as the State Director and liaison to the Georgia Association of REALTORS, further showcasing her commitment to her professional community. An alumna of the prestigious Leadership Georgia program, class of 2023, Sonja is eager to bring her experience and enthusiasm to BasiCare Plus®, where she finds joy in helping others meet their needs in the evolving landscape of virtual healthcare.
Becca Hartley
Enhanced Marketing and Social Media
Becca brings a wealth of talent to our team with social media experience and specialty demographic marketing. She also provides fullfillment services for new clients when onboarding specialty BasiCare Plus® product blends. Becca also works on the development of our market development for expecting moms and off-grid families. Becca is a Kentucky Christian University graduate and has been with BasiCare Plus® since early 2022.
Michelle Marchese
Client/Member support
Michelle has extensive experience in customer service as well as marketing and provides both client and member care support. As BasiCare Plus® expands Michelle has assumed an additional role as quality control over our EDI file share services and oversees our new and expanding individual sales in the Complete™ product. Her educational background and work experience have both customer service and accounting. Michelle attended the University of Arizona where she majored in psychology. Michelle is a 2024 addition to the BasiCare Plus® team.
Emily Bunker
Accounting and Rx Actuarial Support
Emily is a public accountant and provides actuarial analysis for large group benefit bidding and provides support for our national service contracts. Emily oversees the accounting for BasiCare Plus® and sister company AcuteCare Rx. Emily is a graduate of the University of Akron and has been with BasiCare Plus® since 2021.
Dr. Danielle Plummer, PHARMD
Board Member
Danielle serves on our board and is a dynamic pharmacist and medication expert leveraging a strategic mindset and medication expertise to ensure understanding of safety and scientific information to healthcare providers (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs) and patients. She is passionate about helping others improve their quality of life through health and wellness, focusing on preventative medicine, personalized medicine and telemedicine. She has experience in legal and regulatory compliance, business development, retail pharmacy management, hospital pharmacy, surgery center consulting and Pharmacogenetic (PGx) testing. She is also a Hyperemesis Gravidarum treatment expert and advocate!
Robert M Adamov
Board Member
Robert serves on our board and is a retired senior human resources executive with investor relations/public relations experience in both Fortune 50 and Mid-Cap organizations, including The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Mr. Coffee, Caliber Systems, NutriScience Technologies, CACI and TechniGraphics. A cultural change agent, he has led a number of organizations in being recognized as an Employer of Choice and received Best Practices Awards in Benefits, Compensation, Employee Retention and Recruiting.
Bob is a graduate of Kent State University and did postgraduate studies in business at the University of Akron. He is a Certified Compensation Professional and participated in the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist program through the Wharton School of Business.
Gary Black
Board Member
Gary’s serves the board lending his expertise in the individual rural market. Gary W. Black served as the 16th Commissioner of Agriculture for the State of Georgia from 2011-2023. Prior to serving as an elected Constitutional Officer, Black led the Georgia Agribusiness Council and managed young farmer leadership development activities for the Georgia Farm Bureau. Commissioner Black crafted and implemented disaster relief efforts for Georgia farm families in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael, one of our nation’s most devastating weather events. He led the development of the nationally recognized Georgia Grown brand opening opportunities for small business dreamers, expanding trade across the globe, and building bridges with culinary and school nutrition professionals. Black’s business experience includes forming and managing AgriTrust of Georgia, a workers’ compensation insurance company for the agribusiness industry, and Chairman of the Board of the Georgia Development Authority, a $180 million agricultural lending institution. He and his wife, Lydia, raise commercial and registered SimAngus cattle on their family farm in Commerce, Georgia, and actively serve in various ministries of Maysville Baptist Church.
