Dignified care for the under and uninsured, BasiCare Plus provides creative healthcare solutions for working families

Why we built the company

Her name is Kris and in 2013 she had been serving people at a local restaurant for 23 years.  It was during that year that Kris had hours cut and lost her health insurance because of the new healthcare laws.  For the millions like her, working at or near the poverty line, insurance was really not the answer for her to begin with.  Kris does not worry about catastrophic health events, she worries about missing rent or a car payment because of minor illness.  In many cases, a sick child could be difference between making the rent or car payment in any given month.
A properly designed virtual physician network can safely provide consults for more than 80% of our medical needs.  These programs  include  unlimited,  no copay access for everyone in the house.  For Kris this means having free access to a doctor anytime for her and her kids.  Since the doctor is licensed in her state, she can have a prescription sent to a pharmacy of her choice.  The next goal was to remove the financial barrier of the medication's cost as well so that when Kris consults one of our doctors and they prescribe a medication, most of the time a generic prescription will cost her nothing as well.

For Kris and the many like her, this amounts to virtually free, personalized healthcare for most of what ails her.  For the restaurant owner it means having a powerful benefit that Kris wants for very little cost.

Today BasiCare Plus provides consultations and free medications all over the United States and serves companies from every industry.
